Wireless Provider Will Host Special “Thank You” Celebration at its Lucedale Retail Store Featuring Food, Refreshments and Prizes – All Free to the Public

Ridgeland, Miss. (March 23, 2012) – C Spire Wireless, the only wireless provider in the U.S. that offers personalized wireless services, will host a Customer Appreciation Day on March 31 to thank Lucedale consumers for nearly a quarter century of loyal support and business.

The special celebration will feature food, refreshments and prizes at the company’s Lucedale location and eight other retail stores in Bay St. Louis, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Gulfport, Ocean Springs, Pascagoula, Picayune and Wiggins, according to John Lopez, market manager for C Spire Wireless. The events are free to the public.

“We’ve always had a special relationship with Lucedale customers since this was one of the first areas we launched wireless services back in 1988,” Lopez said, noting that much of C Spire’s success can be attributed to its loyal customer base in these markets. “We’ve always put our Lucedale customers at the center of everything we do – so this is just a small way for us to personally thank them for their continued support and business.”

Lopez said the free activities will include food and refreshments, tablet, device and accessory prizes and live entertainment at one of the stores. “We’ve got an exciting, fun and entertaining day planned for all of our customers who visit the Lucedale store on that Saturday,” he added.

As an added thank you, all long-time C Spire customers in Lucedale also will qualify for bonus PERCS rewards points or will receive a higher status level enabling them to earn even more points in the company’s unique rewards program. Lopez said customers also will be able to enter the PERCS Million Points Giveaway contest sweepstakes that day. PERCS rewards customers and non-customers for things like sharing their views on the company’s community social forum, being a loyal customer and engaging in activities on their way to personalizing their wireless experience.

Customer Appreciation Day activities are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lucedale store, 11231-A Old Highway 63 South. Live performances by two C Spire Bright Lights Music musicians are scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. at the company’s Gulfport store, 9471 Three Rivers Road. Brian Fuente, an indie rock and roll artist fresh off an appearance on NBC’s The Voice earlier this month, will perform along with the Glenn Chandler Project. Bright Lights Music gives music fans a new way to discover and share original music from some of the best emerging artists with compelling original content and specially designed music apps not available anywhere else.

Plans for the Customer Appreciation Day come on the heels of C Spire’s recent completion of a series of network improvements and expansion of its high-speed wireless mobile broadband services for 500,000 consumers and businesses along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The company also plans to introduce 4G LTE, the next generation of high-speed mobile broadband services, this fall in 20 Mississippi markets, including the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
